History of the company

Grycksbo Box & Print was founded in 1936 in Grycksbo in Dalarna. The company was acquired in 2009 by the current owners, when the foundation was also laid for the development of an e-commerce solution to smoothly supply small and medium-sized companies with standard packaging. In 2019, the multi-award-winning packaging innovation company JakeBox AB was acquired and the business changed its name to NiceBoxes Scandinavia AB.

Our business concept and vision

NiceBoxes' business concept is to provide packaging and accessories for a wide range of products and purposes. Our small cardboard boxes are suitable for, for example, chocolates, pralines, advent calendars, gift bags, gift cards, jewellery, cosmetics, perfume and spirits. Our standard products are in stock and can be delivered within a few days within the EU. We also offer customised packaging in size, shape, print and design, as well as a wide range of custom accessories to enhance the functionality and elegance of our customers' products.

The environment is very important to us. We have a strong ambition to minimise the use of plastics and to ensure that our products have no impact on the climate. The company is affiliated to Repa, the industry's packaging recycling scheme.

Organisation

The head office is located in Stockholm. Production facilities are located both in Sweden and in Europe, mainly in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia. A dealer network outside Sweden is being developed, mainly in Germany.

Peter Sandström - CEO

Peter has worked for many years in several key positions in the graphic industry. As a buyer, project manager and salesman.

Lennart Myrlöv - Chairman of the Board

Lennart has worked as CEO in a number of different medium-sized companies and with both sales, logistics and finance. In his spare time, relaxation is largely through being out in nature and preferably hiking. Lennart is passionate about developing NiceBoxes into an efficient packaging company in chocolate and confectionery with Europe as a market.

Jakob Skarin - market and development

Jakob was previously CEO of JakeBox AB. Award-winning designer and innovator with numerous international patents and awards and clients such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Telia, IKEA, Vingresor, Marks & Spencer and the Swedish Government. He also has a past as Art Director / Project Manager at an advertising agency. Jakob is passionate about finding simple and smart solutions to difficult packaging problems, and creating packaging that stands out in the crowd and gives the right attention to the content.
